Ayer Lofts Art gallery

Ayer Lofts Art Gallery has been an artistic presence in downtown Lowell since 2000.
The gallery showcases the work of artists and craftsmen resident in Ayer Lofts, the city's
groundbreaking live/work condominium. A select group of invited Lowell artists are also
members of this artist-run gallery.
We present 8 to 12 shows annually. At the core of our program are shows by gallery
members, who work in a wide array of media and styles.
Group member exhibitions comprise half of each year. The other six months we feature
solo shows by artist members, as well as shows from outside artists or groups who may
rent our gallery space for a modest fee. Interested artists are invited to
contact the gallery for more information.

As well as presenting visual arts, the gallery has sponsored a variety of special events,
including music and dance performances, storytelling circles, and mask-making workshops.
We have also hosted shows of student work from Lowell High School and other community
organizations. Ayer Lofts Art Gallery is located at 172 Middle Street in downtown Lowell,
one short block from the Visitors' Center of the Lowell National
Historical Park and within easy reach of many other Lowell museums and galleries.
Parking is available on the street and at the nearby
Leo Roy parking garage. We look forward to seeing you at our upcoming shows.
